Q & A on Freelance Writing
Q: How can a freelance writer optimize their LinkedIn profile to gain clients?
A: When providing LinkedIn profile audits, I focus on integrating 4 main points throughout profiles:
What: What exactly are you offering, the more specific your primary offer is the better.
Who: Who are you offering it to? Call out your ideal client specifically.
Why: Tell and show why they should choose you (strengths, values, recommendations/testimonials, client logos, work samples)
How: Have a specific call to action that leads them to contact you.
And make it look good: Coordinated design elements help to build trust (professional photo, banner, featured section photos)
