In partnership with

Hey ,

Itā€™s a holiday week in the U.S. and Iā€™m OOO so the job roundup will resume next Friday!

If youā€™re celebrating, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving ā€” and I wish you luck explaining what you do to your relatives.

Q & A on Freelance Writing

Q: How can a freelance writer optimize their LinkedIn profile to gain clients?

A: When providing LinkedIn profile audits, I focus on integrating 4 main points throughout profiles:

  • What: What exactly are you offering, the more specific your primary offer is the better.

  • Who: Who are you offering it to? Call out your ideal client specifically.

Why: Tell and show why they should choose you (strengths, values, recommendations/testimonials, client logos, work samples)

  • How: Have a specific call to action that leads them to contact you.

And make it look good: Coordinated design elements help to build trust (professional photo, banner, featured section photos)
