✏️ Check out 33 NEW calls for freelance writers and editors from the last week!

Hi ,
🍂Happy October, fellow writer🍂! Read on for:
9 freelance content writing gigs
16 freelance copywriting gigs
4 freelance editing gigs
4 pitch opportunities
Last week, I asked if you’d rather never have to seek out a client again or never have to chase an invoice. Here are the results:

And some thoughts:
One writer said never chase an invoice because: “If there’s an invoice, it means money is coming my way.”
Others chose never to seek another client because:
“Chasing down invoices is maddening, but doesn't wear away at self-confidence like pitching with no or negative replies.”
“I've never had a problem with a client paying (knock on wood). But a steady stream in this economy? That's golden.”
“My thinking is that I can fire the clients who are difficult or late to pay, and not have to worry because more work will be coming my way.”
Thanks to those who voted and chimed in! I’d have to go with the steady stream of clients. Steady demand solves so many problems downstream.
Now for this week’s question:
How are most of your freelance writing clients responding to AI? |
I’ll share the responses (and interesting comments) next week!
33 freelance writing/editing opportunities
Now onto the gigs! I hope you find a good fit or two.
*Like counts are as of the night before sending. Also, the location of the posting company doesn’t determine who the position is open to. If location restrictions for writers are mentioned, they will be noted in the hyperlink.

P.S. Have you landed a gig from this email? Reply and let me know! I’d love to hear all about it (and share your story if you’re open to it).
Reminder: If the gigs shared have posted rates, they must be above $100 per project, $25/per hour, or $0.10 per word. If you get offered less than that, please let me know. Also, gigs are vetted according to a variety of factors. For example, posters can’t ask for unpaid tests, pay for “exposure,” or have a public history of not paying freelancers. If you encounter problems of any sort from a company shared here, please let me know, and I’ll add them to my blacklist.
