Hi ,

Happy April!

Is spring springing where you live yet 🌸? It’s just starting here in the Boise area and it makes me feel like a new person lol.

This week, I’m happy to report the socials were buzzing with freelance writing gig opportunities.

Before getting to the jobs, a word from this week’s primary sponsor — the one and only Beehiv 🫶 🐝. If you’re thinking of starting a newsletter or switching your newsletter provider, I can’t recommend Beehiv enough! Feel free to AMA.

Let’s get serious

What’s the mark of the world’s best, most growth-minded newsletter creators? They’re all on beehiiv.

Why? Our entire platform exists to help serious content creators scale faster. We’re built for those who are ready to take their content and build it into a behemoth.

It’s why we offer a no-code website builder. It’s why our ad network matches you with global brands like Nike and Netflix. It’s why we never take a dime of your subscription revenue. And it’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ashley Graham trust us to connect with their huge fan bases.

It’s all to put your hard work in front of more people. So if you’re ready to build, ready to grow, and ready to make the world take notice, beehiiv is ready for you.

38 freelance writing/editing opportunities

Now, for this week’s opportunities.

I’m going to try something new and share the number of reactions each post has as of the night before this goes out. Let me know if you like it!

I still include gigs with 100+ reactions because you never know. I’ve landed good-fit gigs with high levels of activity and have heard many success stories from others. It can still be worth a shot if it’s a really good fit and you send a convincing pitch.

Also, they can be good to circle back to down the road (I recently wrote about this on LinkedIn).

And a few words from our second sponsor — Pressmaster.ai:

Using ChatGPT for “Thought Leadership” Is Like Letting Your Ex Write Your Tinder Bio

They make up stories about who you are.
Miss all the important bits.
Leave you to explain awkward situations.

Fact: Your mind can't be faked. No matter how sophisticated the AI.

Pressmaster.ai doesn't pretend to be you.
It extracts your genius.

One conversation (max 5 minutes).
No prep needed. Just talk. Or ask to start researching.

That single dialogue becomes weeks of authority-building content.
Fact-checked. Engagement-optimized. In YOUR voice.

Actual quote from our user: “I get goose bumps reading this. That sounds exactly like me.”

That’s a wrap!

I hope you found a good fit or two!

P.S. Have you landed a gig from this email? Reply and let me know! I’d love to hear what happened.

Reminder: If the gigs shared have posted rates, they must be above $100 per project, $25/per hour, or $0.10 per word. If you get offered less than that, please let me know. Also, gigs are vetted according to a variety of factors. For example, posters can’t ask for unpaid tests, require full-time employee hours, pay for “exposure,” or have a public history of not paying freelancers. If you encounter problems of any sort from a company shared here, please let me know and I’ll add them to my blacklist.
