Last week, I asked how you’d prefer to get paid for six months of work. Here are the results:

While it may seem counterintuitive, most prefer to get paid at the start of each month, over 100% upfront. Here are some of the reasons why:

  • This equally holds both parties responsible for upholding their ends of the stick. Plus, it allows me to balance my cash flow.

  • Monthly payments help with budgeting.

One who opted for 100% upfront said, “If this is an option, I'll choose it because it allows me to invest part of the payment.”
